Brad Pitt’s parents want him to dump partner Angelina Jolie — and have urged him to get back with former wife Jennifer Aniston, it has been claimed.

The actor’s mom, Jane Pitt, is said to dislike Jolie; and feels the only way her son can lead a normal life is to leave the “Changeling” beauty, with whom he raises six children.

“[Brad's parents] sat him down and basically told him she’s trouble and no good,” an insider said. “They urged him not to bring her to Cannes. Brad’s mother Jane is sick about what’s going on and has not been able to sleep well.

“Jane would like nothing more than for Brad and Jen to reunite.”

Pitt is said to be back in contact with Aniston, who he divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage.

Angelina Jolie reportedly threw Brad Pitt out of their home after learning of his renewed friendship with Jennifer Aniston.

The gossip sphere has been abuzz with rumors that Brad has turned to his former wife as his relationship with Angelina reaches breaking point.

And now it’s claimed Angelina is far from happy with the latest developments.

After hearing that the pair were back in contact, the Changeling actress is alleged to have had Brad’s belongings taken to a nearby hotel, where she had booked a suite in his name.

“Angie went mad and told Brad not to bother coming back,” according to an insider.

The insider continued: “She told him he’d humiliated her for the last time and that if he wanted to go back to his boring shallow life with Jen, that was fine by her.”

Angelina is also said to be angry about Brad’s meeting with Jen’s pal Courteney Cox at a recent Chris Cornell concert in Los Angeles.

“She can’t stand any of Jen’s inner circle,” added by a source.

The formula measures factors such as current and future earning power, public profile, career to date and predicted time left on the centre stage as a celebrity couple.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, nicknamed TomKat, reached a respectable 18.3 for their joint success as a Hollywood golden couple.

Like Pitt and Jolie and the Beckhams, they have considerable earning power as a couple, not just as individuals with both partners contributing towards their overall fame, talent and success.

Others in this category include, for instance, rapper Jay-Z and partner Beyonce Knowles who have a Power of Two score of 17.5 and actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith who score 15.5.

According to Paula Hall’s calculations, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick score 14.5 but Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow only manage ten out of 30.

According to the report, Brad’s Lt. Aldo Raine role heads a group of eight Jewish soldiers (two of whom are German-born) spreading terror among the enemy in Nazi-occupied France. Their tactics, given the filmmaker’s soft spot for sadism, aren’t exactly subtle.

“Their mission is to psychologically beat the Germans by desecrating and butchering their bodies, taking their scalps, disemboweling them, and always leaving one soldier alive to tell the story,” director Quentin Tarantino says.

Lest the Basterds be labeled one-trick ponies, the outfit is then given its impossible mission: to blast the Paris movie theater hosting the premiere of the latest propaganda film by Nazi spin doctor Joseph Goebbels.

Tarantino had tried to write the movie for years, and found himself mired in history books that only confused his plotting. “The problem with doing World War II research is that it can derail you, because there are too many great stories, too many good ideas to go around.”

Tarantino hopes that his movie is not nearly as somber as the most recent round of World War II films — including “Defiance,” “Valkyrie” and “Flags of Our Fathers.” Instead, he’s hoping “Inglourious Basterds” has some of the wit and looseness of movies about the war made during the war, like 1943’s “This Land Is Mine” and 1941’s “Man Hunt.”

“This isn’t,” Tarantino says, “antiwar misery.”

After so much time has gone by, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston seem to have grown to value their friendship more, a new report claims and Angelina Jolie might be steamed over a secret gift that Jen gave Brad.

According to In Touch report, Brad is wearing a necklace she gave him for his 45th birthday on December 18.

A source revealed: “It’s an antique pendant,” adding that she left it for him at the offices of his production company, Plan B. “She found it, and knew Brad would love it.”

The report also indicated: “Oddly, it isn’t the first gift she’s given him. The confidante reveals that in the years since their divorce, Jen has never forgotten Brad’s birthday - sending presents to Plan B or through mutual friends, rather than his home, so as not to “stir up trouble” with Angelina.”

“Jen’s never had anything but fond feelings for Brad. She can’t help it.” Should Angie be worried? While Brad and Jen’s friends insist their relationship is purely platonic, the associate says, “Jen and Brad both seem to agree that they gave up on their marriage without enough of a fight. They’ve had many ‘what if’ conversations.”

Brad has been confiding in her about the building tension between him and Angelina Jolie, and their conversations have been becoming longer and longer. Brad even payed a visit to Jennifer on the set of her latest movie The Baster after stopping by to see Angelina who’s working on her movie Salt.

“Brad confessed his feelings to Jen,” a friend says. “He told her that he is trying to make his relationship with Angelina work, but it is failing.”

Brad and Jennifer can be friends, nothing wrong with that. I don’t see Brad leaving Angelina to run back to Jennifer anytime soon!
