Los Angeles. Meryl Streep is the top headline for her win of the Best Actress Award for her role in Doubt and this award couldn’t go to a better person.
She beat Kate Winslet who still managed to win an award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Reader, so the Winslet winning streak shows no sign of running out of steam.

A few remarks:
* Angelina Jolie does not get bored of the same dress, apparently. At least she’s changing colors. And those arms and hands still look sooo skinny.
* Lisa Rinna looked veeeery narrow and Katie Holmes looked rather… underdressed (and are those shoes still in trend?)
