Olga Kurylenko and Empire Awards and New Film “Centurion” News
Olga Kurylenko the star of Quantum of Solace was at Grosvenor House in London last night for the Jameson Empire Awards 2009, an award ceremony that issues awards to the best actors/directors/films with the vote being decided by Empire readers of the monthly film magazine.
Olga accepted the award on behalf of the Quantum of Solace film for the Best Thriller category and made an acceptance speech on behalf of the film. For more information on the Jameson Empire Awards 2009 head to our UK Blog at FJ Girls UK
Thats the first news. We were wondering what has been happening to this unbearably hot stunner in recent months after the overwhelming success of the film Quantum of Solace and the recent launch of the DVD, have things gone quiet, or have further opportunties come her way?
Well she has been busy and is set to star in a new film called “Centurion” a film by Neil Marshall. She’s currently involved in filming now, and its very much in its early stages so trying to fathom what its all about is not that easy. Kurylenko plays a savage pict called Etain in Roman times the year to be exact is AD 117. Her family were butchered by the Romans, she had her tongue cut out by the Romans, she’s been to hell and back again and she’s out to take out revenge on you guessed it the Romans , this is pretty much the long and short of it. Why does this sound strangely similar to her role in Quantum of Solace!
This film is currently being shot on location in Surrey and Scotland. Release date is patchy but looking to be the latter part of 2009 with Autumn being a good probability. Watch for further news on this one!

Another star studded event at Paris Fashion Week and the follow up to the Stella McCartney celeb spotting, this time it is Kate Moss at the Chanel Autumn/Winter 09 show.
