Amber Rose is no joke …. the once heavily known as arm-candy piece of rapper Kanye West has moved on up to Hollywood on her own.

Rose was spotted out at Gen Art LA Fashion’s Alumni Celebration at the Roosevelt Hotel Tuesday.

Hitting the arrivals carpet, Rose ended up being the center of attention with a tight black top and skirt (see additional photos below).

As previously reported, Rose has signed with Ford Models.

Ciara is representing Adidas and doing so well in recently released photos from a campaign shoot.

Sources say Ciara will be front and center for the athletic brand, which produces everything from shoes to workout apparel.

Media mogul/model/host and Emmy winner Tyra Banks may be heading down the aisle in the near future…

According to Banks’ right hand man on ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ Jay Manuel, Banks appears to be deeply connected with rumored boyfriend John Utendahl.

“I’ve seen Tyra in her current relationship, and I think she’s very much herself,” Manuel told In Touch Weekly. “When you see that real moment, she’s comfortable – and being comfortable is the most important thing.”

When asked if he thought they would tie the knot, Manuel went on to say “I think she definitely will, but does she have plans to get married right now? Not that I know of yet!”

Just like Barbie had her side kicks, Nicki Minaj gets a host of them in her just shot video for “Massive Attack”. One of those sidekicks just happens to be Amber Rose !

Speaking of the video, which is directed by Hype Williams, Minaj tells MTV “It’s really a fashion and beauty shot and we’re just acting like we’re doing something important…”
