Dolly Parton Speaks Out in Defense of Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson has spoken out in defense of Jessica Simpson after she was criticized for being overweight, according to Starpulse. The legendary country singer only had words of praise and support for Simpson when she spoke to CNN’s Larry King:
“I say people always treat her bad. They always talk bad about her. I just recorded a song with her a few months ago. And I’ve never had - I’ve never been around a person any sweeter in my life. And she’s a great singer.
And I’ve been fat and I’ve been skinny. And I’m not about to say something about somebody else’s weight because I know how hard it is when you gain, you know, five or six pounds, and certainly 10 or 12…
But I know that Jessica is a good girl. She’s beautiful to me. And I’m sure that she’s going to get some weight off just because people won’t leave her alone.”
Dolly also defended Jessica’s meltdown when “she broke down onstage while supporting Rascal Flatts in Michigan, forgetting her lyrics and eventually walking off in tears.”
“I think every entertainer’s had nights when things go wrong. I mean you can’t remember everything all the time, and especially if you’re having hard times personally.”
Aw, Dolly’s so nice! Maybe too nice.

For the ladies The Oscars was Kate Winslet’s day along with Penelope Cruz both winning Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress respectively. But the Oscars isn’t just about the awards it’s also about who’s wearing what on the red carpet and who is shining, who looks very average and who definetly isn’t shining whatsoever. A lot of the big name A listers have fashion advisers and guides on what looks good and what doesn’t and they get paid a fortune but even after all this some stars are renowned for getting it wrong every time and some just have a knack for hitting the mark.
This is all subjective, one person’s hottie is another person’s nottie and vica versa but here’s our verdict on some of the stars and what they looked like with label name!

Jennifer Aniston hit the spot for us, her dress was Valentino coupled with a sexy tan and we think she upstaged a classic adversary Angelina Jolie.
